Memphis Light, Gas and Water's Public Education Program (PEP) allows MLGW the opportunity educate adults and children on the utility industry through a variety of forums such as newsletters, community and classroom presentations, Career-on-Wheels participation, Water Pumping Station tours, special conferences and more!

Speakers Bureau
Looking for a speaker for your classroom, community group, church or civic organization? MLGW representatives are available to speak on a variety of utility related topics such energy conservation, safety, careers and more. For the best availability of speakers, advance requests are highly recommended.


Memphis Neighborhood Leaders Conference
The Neighborhood Leaders Conference is an annual event held in August geared towards providing workshops and networking opportunities for neighborhood leaders. In 2021, the conference is being presented virtually through the quarterly EmPOWERING Sustainable Neighborhoods training sessions on Zoom focusing.  Participation for the sessions is free but requires registration.  


Power Hour
The Power Hour is a community forum where Division officials address customer concerns and share details about utility plans and projects. Customers are encouraged to attend Power Hour meetings to provide input and stay informed. Additional information about Power Hour meetings can be found at mlgw.com/PowerHour.
 

Power Pivot
