Job Title: Lineman
Duties: Perform skilled work in the construction and maintenance of electric cable and powerline systems, and adhere to strict safety regulations.

Must have successfully completed approved Lineman Apprenticeship Program or equivalent experience and training. Must successfully complete placement/performance exercises. Must have a valid Class A Commercial driver's license from state of residence.

Exposed to weather, traffic conditions and high voltage; subject to storm or emergency work and the normal hazards of construction work and physical activities such as climbing, walking, standing, bending, stooping, heavy lifting/pulling/pushing.

Job Title: Water Treatment Operator 2
Inspect/service remote controlled pumping stations; record meter readings; replace chlorine, fluoride and phosphate and adjust chemical dosage as needed; operate pumping stations manually when needed; receive/unload chemicals; extract data from the Human-Machine Interface (HMI) to create reports; and service Backwash Monitoring Stations. 

Must have successfully completed Placement (Group 03A “Mechanics”)/ Performance Exercises and Physical Abilities Test, Level IV (Gen IV).  Must have Tennessee Grade IV Water Treatment Operator’s License.  Must successfully complete NIMS Training within one (1) year of entering job.  Must successfully complete Hazardous Waste Operator training within one year of entering job.  Must have a valid driver’s license from state of residence.

Works inside/outside pumping stations under fairly good conditions most of the time, but must walk water pumping station grounds to collect data and inspect machinery/equipment.  Subject to hazards of noise, operating machines, corrosive and poisonous chemicals, pipes under pressure, low voltage shock, walking, climbing stairs, medium lifting, distinguishing colors related to various tests, and weather conditions.

Oversee daily operations of MLGW Company Store; plan, implement and monitor employee activity/recreational programs; prepare area budget, track and calculate, records/reports; and schedule, assign and coordinate various employee activity functions. 
            
Associate degree in Business Administration, Recreation, or related with 2-4 years experience in retail and inventory, planning/coordinating volunteer, community or recreational programs or a high school diploma with 6-8 years experience in retail and inventory, planning/coordinating volunteer, community and recreational programs including budget preparation/financial recordkeeping. Must have a valid driver’s license from state of residence.

Train, direct and supervise management/bargaining unit employees engaged in the operation, servicing and maintenance of pumping stations, well pumps, auxiliary equipment/wells; inspection of well drilling; chemical treatment of wells; and the servicing of aerators and filters.
                                               
Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Industrial Maintenance Technology, Electronic Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Chemistry or Management. Must have 4-6 years journeyman level experience in the mechanical, electrical and/or instrumentation maintenance and operation of water pumping stations, wells, pumps and auxiliary equipment. Must successfully complete Supervisor Assessment Center. Must have TN Grade IV Water Treatment Operator’s License. Must successfully complete NIMS training within one (1) year of entering job.  Must have a valid driver’s license from state
of residence. 
                                   
Works inside majority of the time. Subject to working in proximity of construction work, operating machinery, high voltage, corrosive chemicals and pipes under pressure, and occasional bending, stooping/crouching, kneeling, standing/walking while making field inspections and lifting, carrying and grasping of tools/equipment.

Collect water and test water samples; perform microbiological and/or chemical tests; maintain related computerized records; and comply with federal, state, and local rules, regulations and standards on drinking water.
                                                        
Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, General Science or a related field.  Must have knowledge and skills in chemical and/or bacteriological testing included in the drinking water regulations.  Must complete Hazardous Waste Materials Training (29 CFR 1910.120) within 2 years of entering job.  Must be certified annually under the Safe Drinking Water Act, Public Law 93-523, Section 1401.  Must pass the Color Blind 1 test.  Must successfully complete NIMS Training within one year of entering job.  Must have skills in computer software such as word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, etc.  Must have a valid driver’s license from state of residence.  Must have a valid driver’s license from state of residence.

Associate degree in Automotive Technology or related degree; or successfully completed Mechanic Apprenticeship program; or have four (4) current ASE/FPS certifications; or four (4) years experience in the diagnosis, repair and maintenance of automotive vehicles, or medium duty trucks or heavy equipment. ASE certifications A1-Engine Repair, or T1-Gasoline Engines, or T2-Diesel Engines and A6-Electrical/Electronics Systems or T6-Electrical/Electronic Systems are required, and based on departmental needs the two (2) remaining certifications will be determined from an approved ASE/FPS list.  The approved ASE/FPS list includes: A1-A8; T1-T6, T8; F1; L1; and/or FPS certifications which include Mobile Hydraulic Mechanic, Hydraulic Technician and/or Application/Electronics Specialist. Must obtain a valid Class A Commercial driver’s license from state of residence within trial or probationary period after entering classification.  Must successfully complete Placement (Group 03C “Mechanics”)/Performance Exercises.  Must pass Color Blind I Test.  Must be able to differentiate sounds when making adjustments.

Works inside and outside.  Subject to hazards of operating machinery and irritation from oils, solvents, chemicals and fumes.  Make service calls in the field.  Performs heavy lifting.  Subject to climbing, standing/walking for extended periods, and working in uncomfortable positions.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or Business with a concentration in Information Systems or Math with a concentration in Computer Science or Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 12 hours college accredited Information Technology or Information Systems courses plus four (6) years of experience and meet proficiency requirements.  Must have at least one (1) year of demonstrated experience as the primary support person for a particular system or application and at least demonstrated knowledge and skills in one (1) or more of the fields listed below.  Experience and knowledge requirements will vary according to area and departmental needs.
