Job Title: Lineman
Duties: Perform skilled work in the construction and maintenance of electric cable and powerline systems, and adhere to strict safety regulations.

Must have successfully completed approved Lineman Apprenticeship Program or equivalent experience and training. Must successfully complete placement/performance exercises. Must have a valid Class A Commercial Driver License from state of residence.

Exposed to weather, traffic conditions and high voltage; subject to storm or emergency work and the normal hazards of construction work and physical activities such as climbing, walking, standing, bending, stooping, heavy lifting/pulling/pushing.

Job Title: Project Engineer 1

Duties: Monitor, schedule/coordinate the activities of one or more major information systems; carry out pre-defined/pre-established activities as well as special project requests/activities; establish a work management/reporting and standardization scheme for contracted personnel.

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil or Industrial Engineering, depending on expertise required. Experience requirements will vary according to departmental needs. Must have working knowledge of computer languages such as FORTRAN, COBOL or other appropriate languages. Must successfully complete NIMS Training within one year of entering job. Must have a valid driver’s license from state of residence.

Works inside under good conditions.

Job Title: Asset Manager Engineer 1

Duties: Apply entry-level engineering principles to the development and maintenance of the asset management system, which includes electric, gas and water operations; facilities; and providing asset functionality.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering. Must have zero to two years of asset management or related engineering experience. Must successfully complete NIMS Training within one year of entering job. Must complete the JEPE program. Must have a valid driver’s license from state of residence.

Works in office majority of the time. May be subject to constructions hazards while making field inspections.

Job Title: Fabricator Welder

Duties: Fabricate/forge/weld/repair and install metal items.

Must have successfully completed approved Fabrication Welding Apprenticeship Program or equivalent experience and training. Must have a valid driver’s license from state of residence. Must obtain a valid Class A Commercial driver’s license from state of residence within trial or probationary period after entering classification. Must have Welder qualifications under the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) D1.1-90 and D1.2-90. Must successfully complete Placement (Group 03A “Mechanics”)/Performance Exercises.

Works inside and outside. Subject to climbing various structures and heights; falls from high structures; burns and hazards associated with welding, industrial machinery and working in the shop and in proximity of energized equipment; heavy lifting, climbing and standing for longs periods of time.
