Job Title: Electronics Technician

Duties: Perform installation, tests, maintenance/repair of various types of relays and electronic equipment/electrical instruments to transmission and distribution systems.

Associate degree in Electrical, Telecommunication or Electronic Engineering Technology.  Must successfully complete Color Blind I Test.  Must successfully complete Placement/Performance Exercises.  Must have a valid driver’s license from state of residence.    

Works inside/outside under varying conditions.  Subject to hazards of falling, working in the proximity of high voltage equipment, gas and electricity, traffic, heavy lifting, climbing poles, ladders and ramps and chemical and chemical fumes.  May work from a bucket truck.

Job Title: Compensation Analyst 2

Duties:  Perform intermediate professional-level work to collect, analyze and develop job and organization data in the preparation/revision of job descriptions, job competencies, job evaluations, job/salary surveys, job career ladders/line of progressions, reports, etc.; monitor position control and the labor budget; calculate and recommend salary/wages for executives, management, non-bargaining unit and bargaining unit jobs/employees; create systems reports; work on special projects; and may act as lead on special projects.

Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration or Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems with 2-4 years of professional-level compensation experience in compensation salary/wage policies, practices and programs; spreadsheet and presentation software applications; and compensation economy and statistics.  Must have a valid driver’s license from state of residence.

Works in office.  Subject to construction hazards while conducting job analyses at work sites.

Duties: Perform skilled work in the construction and maintenance of electric cable and powerline systems; and adhere to strict safety regulations.

Must have successfully completed approved Lineman Apprenticeship Program or equivalent experience and training.  Must successfully complete Placement/ Performance Exercises.  Must have a valid Class A Commercial driver’s license from state of residence.  

Exposed to weather, traffic conditions and high voltage; subject to storm or emergency work and the normal hazards of construction work and physical activities such as climbing, walking, standing, bending, stooping, heavy lifting/pulling/pushing.

Job Title: Human Resource Representative 2

Duties:  Apply intermediate professional level work to research, interview and investigate various complaints, claims, charges, job placements and inquiries concerning human resources issues; review, develop, administer and communicate programs; interview/select part-time and full-time employees; prepare and analyze statistical data for internal/external reporting; maintain a computerized tracking system; establish/maintain contact with outside agencies for recruitment, claims and informational purposes; prepare summaries, articles, publications, reports and other pertinent documents; work on projects; and train/inform employees in human resources policies/practices, fair employment laws, insurance/pension benefits.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related area, with 2-4 years professional-level experience in employee selection/recruitment.  Must successfully complete Lopez Assessment Certification within 90 day period.  A professional accreditation as a Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) preferred.  Must have computer software skills in word processing, presentation and spreadsheets.  Must have a valid driver’s license from state of residence.

Duties:  Plan, organize, and direct the overall operation of the MLGW University to ensure alignment of learning (training) with the current/future and strategic objectives of the Division; coordinate departmental activities with the internal/external customers/stakeholders.

Master’s degree preferably in Education.  Must have 4-6 years experience in Human Resources and Organizational Development.  Must have 2 years of supervisory experience.  Must have a valid driver’s license from state of residence.
