Job Title: Lineman
Duties: Perform skilled work in the construction and maintenance of electric cable and powerline systems, and adhere to strict safety regulations.

Must have successfully completed approved Lineman Apprenticeship Program or equivalent experience and training. Must successfully complete placement/performance exercises. Must have a valid Class A Commercial Driver License from state of residence.

Exposed to weather, traffic conditions and high voltage; subject to storm or emergency work and the normal hazards of construction work and physical activities such as climbing, walking, standing, bending, stooping, heavy lifting/pulling/pushing.

Job Title: Human Resources Representative 2

Duties:   ​Apply intermediate professional level work to research, interview and investigate various complaints, claims, charges, job placements and inquiries concerning human resources issues; review, develop, administer and communicate programs; prepare and analyze statistical data for internal/external reporting; maintain a computerized tracking system; establish/maintain contact with outside agencies for informational purposes; prepare summaries, articles, publications, reports and other pertinent documents; work on projects; and train/inform employees in human resources policies/practices, and fair employment laws.

Job Title: Combination Welder

Duties:  Cut, fabricate, fit and weld metal pipes using oxyacetylene and electric welding equipment in order to install, maintain and repair gas mains and services. 

Must successfully complete Placement (Group 03A “Mechanics”)/Performance Exercises.  Must have welder qualifications under API Standard 1104 and Department of Transportation Appendix C.  Must have a current Combination Welder Qualification Certification.  Must have knowledge/skills in welding, burning and cutting.  Must successfully complete Physical Abilities Test (PCMII).  Must have a valid driver’s license from state of residence.
                           
Works outside majority of time.  Subject to the hazards of heavy lifting, burns, inclement weather, welding on live gas mains, working in traffic, pushing, pulling, climbing, working in uncomfortable positions and working in the proximity of construction work.

Job Title: Security Automation Technician

​Install, maintain and support security information systems hardware, software, access control systems, automated gates, burglar alarms and CCTV network security systems to insure the safety of all Division employees/customers.

Associate degree in Information Systems, Electronic Engineering Technology, Computer Science or related field plus 4-6 years of demonstrated knowledge and application of programming, operating systems, database and/or computer hardware/networking experience or Associate degree with at least 12 hours of college accredited computer related courses plus 4-6 years demonstrated experience as aforementioned or High School Diploma or General Education Development (G.E.D.) with 8-10 years demonstrated experience as aforementioned.  Job skill proficiencies in Casi Rusco Picture Perfect Access Control System, OnGuard Access Control System, ABM Phoenix Alarm Monitoring System, BadgePass Identifications Card System and Local and Remote CCTV Monitoring Systems preferred. Must successfully complete NIMS Training within 1 year of entering job. Job Title: Computer Software Specialist 3

Apply advanced-level business and information technology system practices and/or project management methodology in analyzing information requirements to determine hardware/ software solutions; develop project plans; and implement, develop or maintain enterprise information systems to meet project deliverables.

Perform mechanical maintenance/repair work on Division vehicles and heavy equipment in shop and/or field.

 Associate degree in Automotive Technology or related degree; ORsuccessfully completed Mechanic Apprenticeship program; ORhave four (4) current ASE/FPS certifications; OR four (4) years experience in the diagnosis, repair and maintenance of automotive vehicles, or medium duty trucks or heavy equipment. ASE certifications A1-Engine Repair, or T1-Gasoline Engines, or T2-Diesel Engines and A6-Electrical/Electronics Systems or T6-Electrical/Electronic Systems are required, and based on departmental needs the two (2) remaining certifications will be determined from an approved ASE/FPS list.  The approved ASE/FPS list includes: A1-A8; T1-T6, T8; F1; L1; and/or FPS certifications which include Mobile Hydraulic Mechanic, Hydraulic Technician and/or Application/Electronics Specialist. Must obtain a valid Class A Commercial driver’s license from state of residence within trial or probationary period after entering classification.  Must successfully complete Placement (Group 03C “Mechanics”)/Performance Exercises.  Must pass Color Blind I Test.  Must be able to differentiate sounds when making adjustments.

Duties: Apply entry-level engineering principles in the management/coordination of various activities in carrying out mandated functions/responsibilities for the pipeline integrity management program which entails protecting/improving the integrity of MLGW’s Natural Gas Pipeline Transmission and Distribution Systems; compiling/completing required annual/bi-annual reports; and updating/communicating the general operating and maintenance procedures for the natural gas distribution system.

Duties:  Apply specialized senior-level expertise for the outage management/distribution management system (OMS/DMS), NERC 693 and NERC CIP; and responsible for the management, design, specifications, installation, configuration, troubleshooting and support of the Outage Management System (OMS) and Distribution Management System (DMS) applications, hardware and operating systems for MLGW’s Electric System.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or Business with a concentration in Information Systems or Math with a concentration in Computer Science of Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 12 hours college accredited Information Technology or Information Systems courses. Must have 6 to 8 years of experience in Outage Management System (OMS), Distribution Management System (DMS) or Distribution Automation System (DA) or Cyber security, networking, programming or system analysis skills depending on departmental need. Must successfully complete NIMS Training within one year of entering job. Senior level expertise knowledge of computer operating systems and database administration, OMS/DMS/DA applications and theory, distribution engineering theory, or advanced knowledge of engineering principles and practices related to electric, gas or water systems. Must have a valid driver’s license from state of residence.
