Job Title: Lineman
Duties: Perform skilled work in the construction and maintenance of electric cable and powerline systems, and adhere to strict safety regulations.

Must have successfully completed approved Lineman Apprenticeship Program or equivalent experience and training. Must successfully complete placement/performance exercises. Must have a valid Class A Commercial Driver License from state of residence.

Exposed to weather, traffic conditions and high voltage; subject to storm or emergency work and the normal hazards of construction work and physical activities such as climbing, walking, standing, bending, stooping, heavy lifting/pulling/pushing.

Job Title: Combination Welder

Duties: Cut, fabricate, fit and weld metal pipes using oxyacetylene and electric welding equipment in order to install, maintain and repair gas mains and services.

Must successfully complete Placement (Group 03A “Mechanics”)/Performance Exercises. Must have welder qualifications under API Standard 1104 and Department of Transportation Appendix C. Must have a current Combination Welder Qualification Certification. Must have knowledge/skills in welding, burning and cutting. Must successfully complete Physical Abilities Test (PCMII). Must have a valid Class A Commercial driver’s license from state of residence.

Works outside majority of time. Subject to the hazards of heavy lifting, burns, inclement weather, welding on live gas mains, working in traffic, pushing, pulling, climbing, working in uncomfortable positions and working in the proximity of construction work.

Job Title: Layout Designer

Duties: Provide specifications, instructions and layout designs for installation of electric distribution facilities/street lights; field check voltage complaints/check electric construction for compliance to drawings, specifications, codes and standards.

Associate degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a minimum of five years drafting experience. Must successfully complete Placement (Group 001 “Drafters”)/Performance Exercises. Must successfully complete NIMS training within one year of entering job. Must have a valid driver’s license from state of residence.

Works inside and outside. Subject to the hazards of working in proximity of construction; energized conductors; bending, stooping, walking and crouching during frequent field trips; and other hazards associated with field inspections; heavy lifting of manhole covers; climbing into manholes; light lifting of maps, books and drafting tools/equipment; and sitting for long periods of time.

Duties: Apply entry level functions to implement, develop and/or maintain new systems to meet information system requirements.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or Business with a concentration in Information Systems or Math with a concentration in Computer Science or Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 12 hours college accredited Information Technology or Information Systems courses. Job Title: Secretary (Legal Services)

Duties: Provide secretarial support to Manager by typing, making appointments, handling correspondence, reports/projects and performing other general office functions, usually of a confidential nature; and utilize computer equipment and various software programs in the performance of job duties.

High school diploma or General Education Development (G.E.D.) plus two to four years of experience in office administration including composition of correspondence/reports, record maintenance and proficiency in data entry/computer software applications. Must have legal experience and the ability to understand legal terminology. Must demonstrate ability to transcribe. Must pass Division typing test of 50 wpm.
