Job Title: Lineman
Duties: Perform skilled work in the construction and maintenance of electric cable and powerline systems, and adhere to strict safety regulations.

Must have successfully completed approved Lineman Apprenticeship Program or equivalent experience and training. Must successfully complete placement/performance exercises. Must have a valid Class A Commercial Driver License from state of residence.

Exposed to weather, traffic conditions and high voltage; subject to storm or emergency work and the normal hazards of construction work and physical activities such as climbing, walking, standing, bending, stooping, heavy lifting/pulling/pushing.

Duties: Plan, organize, direct and control the overall operations of the Employment Services Department functions to include recruitment/selection and placement; investigation/disciplinary hearing processes; employee recreational activities; company store operation; NERC/SERC/FMLA Compliance and related personnel services to insure company-wide compliance with all Human Resources and Division policies/procedures and governmental regulations relating to the employment of employees.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related degree area. Master’s degree preferred. Must have four to six years of experience in human resources. Must have two years of supervisory/leadership experience. Professional certification preferred. Must successfully complete NIMS Training within one year of entering job. Job Title: Computer Software Specialist 3

Duties: Apply advanced-level business and information technology system practices and/or project management methodology in analyzing information requirements to determine hardware/ software solutions; develop project plans; and implement, develop or maintain enterprise information systems to meet project deliverables.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or Business with a concentration in Information Systems or Math with a concentration in Computer Science or Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 12 hours college accredited Information Technology or Information Systems courses. Must have at six years of experience and meet proficiency requirements. Must have a valid driver’s license from state of residence. Must have at least one year of demonstrated experience as the primary support person for a particular system or application and demonstrated knowledge and skills in one or more of the fields listed below:
Banner, Oracle Developer, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Linux, SQL, PL/SQL, Pro C, Java, MAVEN, SOAP.

Works inside under good conditions. Subject to sitting for long periods of time at computer terminals, eye fatigue, grasping/ reaching for technical manuals/printouts and distinguishing color, and occasional light lifting, bending, stooping/crouching to load computer equipment, paper and carry materials.

Job Title: Mechanic

Duties: Perform mechanical maintenance/repair work on Division vehicles and heavy equipment in shop and/or field.

Associate degree in Automotive Technology or related degree; or successfully completed Mechanic Apprenticeship program; or have four current ASE/FPS certifications; or four years of experience in the diagnosis, repair and maintenance of automotive vehicles, medium duty trucks or heavy equipment. ASE certifications A1-Engine Repair, or T1-Gasoline Engines, or T2-Diesel Engines and A6-Electrical/Electronics Systems or T6-Electrical/Electronic Systems are required, and based on departmental needs the two remaining certifications will be determined from an approved ASE/FPS list. The approved ASE/FPS list includes: A1-A8; T1-T6, T8; F1; L1; and/or FPS certifications which include Mobile Hydraulic Mechanic, Hydraulic Technician and/or Application/Electronics Specialist. Must obtain a valid Class A Commercial driver’s license from state of residence within trial or probationary period after entering classification. Must successfully complete Placement (Group 03C “Mechanics”)/Performance Exercises. Must pass Color Blind I Test. Must be able to differentiate sounds when making adjustments.

Works inside and outside. Subject to hazards of operating machinery and irritation from oils, solvents, chemicals and fumes. Make service calls in the field. Performs heavy lifting. Subject to climbing, standing/walking for extended periods, and working in uncomfortable positions.

Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Mechanic

Duties: Repair, maintain and/or install electric motors, generators and control equipment.
            
Must have successfully completed Motor and Machine Repair Apprenticeship Program or equivalent experience and training. Must successfully complete Color Blind 1 Test.  Must successfully complete Placement (Group 002 “Electricians”)/ Performance Exercises and Physical Abilities Test (CGS III). Must have successfully completed NIMS Training within one year of entering job.  Must have a valid driver’s license from state of residence.

Works inside and outside. Subject to the hazards of electrical shock, falls, climbing ladders, heavy lifting, working with rotary tools and in the proximity of machinery and equipment.

Must obtain a valid Class A Commercial driver’s license from state of residence within trial or probationary period after entering classification. Must have Welder qualifications under the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) D1.1-90 and D1.2-90. Must successfully complete Placement (Group 03A “Mechanics”)/Performance Exercises.

Works inside and outside. Subject to climbing various structures and heights; falls from high structures; burns and hazards associated with welding, industrial machinery and working in the shop and in proximity of energized equipment; heavy lifting, climbing and standing for longs periods of time.

Works inside and outside. Subject to the hazards of working in proximity of construction; energized conductors; bending, stooping, walking and crouching during frequent field trips; and other hazards associated with field inspections; heavy lifting of manhole covers; climbing into manholes; light lifting of maps, books and drafting tools/equipment; and sitting for long periods of time.

Must successfully complete Color Blind I Test. Must successfully complete Placement (Group 004 “Electronics Technicians”)/Performance Exercises. Must complete NIMS training within one year of entering job. Must have a valid driver’s license form state of residence.

Works inside/outside under varying conditions. Subject to hazards of falling, working in the proximity of high voltage equipment, gas and electricity, traffic, heavy lifting, climbing poles, ladders and ramps and chemical fumes. May work from a bucket truck.
