Job Title: Electronics Communications Technician

Duties: Install, maintain, test and repair the Division’s two-way radio communication system, color video recording equipment and other diversified electronic equipment; locate electronic interference.  Operate infrared scanner to perform heat surveys of transmission/distribution/network systems and substations; locate and report equipment/components over-heating such as transformers, switches and capacitor banks; recheck completed maintenance repairs.  

Associate degree in Electrical, Electronic or Telecommunication Engineering Technology.  Must successfully complete Color Blind 1 Test.  Must successfully complete Placement (Group 004 “Electronics Technicians”)/Performance Exercises. Must have a valid driver’s license from state of residence.      

Works in shop and outside.  Works in proximity of electrical equipment in substations and walk-in/underground vaults.  Subject to medium lifting, climbing ladders, working with chemicals and standing for extended periods.  May work from bucket truck.

Job Title: Computer Software Specialist III

Duties: Apply advanced-level business and information technology system practices and/or project management methodology in analyzing information requirements to determine hardware/ software solutions; develop project plans; and implement, develop or maintain enterprise information systems to meet project deliverables.     
                                
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or Business with a concentration in Information Systems or Math with a concentration in Computer Science or Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 12 hours college accredited Information Technology or Information Systems courses. Must have at least six (6) years of  experience and meet proficiency requirements.  Must have at least one (1) year of demonstrated experience as the primary support person for a particular system or application and at least demonstrated knowledge and skills in one (1) or more of the fields listed below.  Experience and knowledge requirements will vary according to area and departmental needs. Systems Programming: MQ-Series, Appworx, Windows 2003/8.  Networking: Windows 2008 Server. Desktop Support: MSProject, Visio, TOAD, Unix, Linux. Database: Oracle, Access, SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, ArcGIS Spatial Database Engine (ArcSDE) for Oracle, Oracle Application Server or Concurrent Processor. Web Development: HTML, JAVA, AJAX, CSS.  Applications Programming:  Visual Basic, ACCESS, ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Mobile, Visual Basic for .Net, SQL, Business Objects, Oracle Developer 2000, Oracle Forms, Oracle Applications R12 or higher, Oracle Discoverer, Business Intelligence, Oracle reports and other programming languages, ETL tools, data modeling and data extraction. Must have a valid driver’s license from state of residence.
                           
Works inside under good conditions.  Subject to sitting for long periods of time at computer terminals, eye fatigue, grasping/ reaching for technical manuals/printouts and distinguishing color, and occasional light lifting, bending, stooping/crouching to load computer equipment, paper and carry materials.

If there are no qualified bidders for Computer Software Specialist 3, bidders will be considered for Computer Software Specialist 2.  If there are no qualified bidders for Computer Software Specialist 2, bidders will be considered for Computer Software Specialist 1.

Job Title: Supervisor, Pension

Duties: Train, direct and supervise employees while being responsible for the day-to-day operations and administration of MLGW’s pension plan; responsible for the complete accounting function for the pension fund in accordance with the Government Accounting Standards Board (G.A.S.B.); responsible for the communication and compliance of the Pension Resolution and Internal Revenue Code Section 457 Deferred Compensation Plan.  

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration with courses in Accounting or Finance.  Must have 2 – 4 years of benefits administration experience.  Must successfully complete Supervisor Assessment Center.  Must successfully complete NIMS  Training within (1) year of entering job.  Must have a valid driver’s license from state of residence.

Works in office under good conditions.  Subject to occasional bending, stooping, crouching and reaching to retrieve files and light lifting of boxes/checks, standing for long periods of time while conducting employee programs, and eye fatigue while utilizing computers.
