Memphis Light, Gas and Water is governed by a seven-member Board of Commissioners who are appointed by the Mayor of the City of Memphis. Public meetings are held at 8:30 a.m. on the first and third Wednesdays of each month (unless otherwise noted) at the MLGW Administration Building, 220 S. Main.
All in attendance must wear masks, be prepared to answer screening questions and social distance. It is suggested that the public arrive a minimum of 30 minutes prior to the start of the meeting.
Customers who don’t plan to attend the meeting in person can submit questions by Tuesday, August 31 at 8:30 a.m. (up to 24 hours prior to the meeting) by email to firstname.lastname@example.org. The email should include: the customer’s full name, physical address and question(s), and “September 1, 2021 Board Meeting” in the subject line.
The public may also access the meeting and agenda online at mlgw.com/livestream.
MLGW is the largest three-service public power utility in the nation, serving more than 437,000 customers in Memphis and Shelby County.
