MLGW to Temporarily Close Ayers for Water Installation Project
June 18, 2018

Memphis Light, Gas and Water will temporarily shut down Ayers from Poplar to Mosby one night each week for a water service installation project. The work is scheduled to begin June 18–23, from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

Barricades will be set up along the corridor of Ayers between Poplar and Mosby. Travelers can use Decatur or Dunlap as alternate routes.

MLGW is the largest three-service public power utility in the nation, serving more than 421,000 customers in Memphis and Shelby County.
