Memphis Light, Gas and Water Division construction is expected to cause major disruptions on Mendenhall at the Shelby Drive intersection from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. this Saturday, September 20, where crews are completing duct line for a manhole installation.

The project will affect northbound traffic along Mendenhall as well as east and westbound traffic on Shelby Drive. The intersection will continue lane shifts and closures throughout October.

MLGW is the largest three-service public power utility in the nation, serving more than 420,000 customers in Memphis and Shelby County.
