Memphis Light, Gas and Water will offer pilot light inspections by appointment and free of charge to residential customers until October 15. Starting October 16, there is a $55 fee. Pilot light inspections are always free for customers who are 60 or older or disabled.)

MLGW encourages customers to have their furnace inspected before winter. Appointments are available from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Saturdays.

Customers can call 820-7878 and use the automated system 24 hours a day or speak with a Customer Care Representative 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday - Friday. Customers can easily access the automated system after hours.
