Shelby County Community Services Agency will screen applicants for two programs

MLGW will be hosting an open house on Monday, May 8, at the downtown Community Office, 245 S. Main St. from 3 to 7 p.m. Customers can learn about various MLGW assistance programs and apply for LIHEAP utility assistance.

The Shelby County Community Services Agency will also screen for utility service at the downtown Community Office on the following days:

Monday: 3 -7 p.m.
Tuesday and Wednesday:  9 a.m.-3 p.m.
Thursday: 3 -7 p.m.

Additional guidelines and applications are available on Shelby County Government’s website at shelbycountytn.gov/index.

This project is grant funded by the Tennessee Housing Development Agency (THDA).

MLGW is the largest three-service public power utility in the nation, serving more than 421,000 customers in Memphis and Shelby County.
