Memphis Light, Gas and Water in partnership with the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA), will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its new Emergency Preparedness Information Center (EPIC) on Thursday, May 14, at 11 a.m. in front of the 

MLGW Administration Building, 220 S. Main Street.EPIC will serve as MLGW’s mobile command center, providing customer service support and real-time information to the community. 

The mobile command center allows customers to speak directly with MLGW representatives, receive assistance with accounts and billing and make payments or access service support in one location.

MLGW leadership, TVA representatives, local officials and community stakeholders are expected to attend the ribbon cutting.

In the event of rain, the ceremony will be held at the MLGW North Service Center, Building 8, 1060 Tupelo Street.
