MLGW Hosting EnergySmart Workshop and Free Energy Kits to Honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

In honor of MLK Days of Service 2021, Memphis Light, Gas and Water Division employees will offer a free EnergySmart Workshop on Thursday, January 14, 2021, 10-11 a.m. This free workshop is available to all customers and will provide energy efficiency tips. The meeting can be joined using the following link: mlgw.com/mlk2021.
Following the EnergySmart workshop, Division employees have organized a mobile energy kit distribution drive-thru Friday, January 15, 2021 in the Douglass community from 9-11 a.m. MLGW volunteers will distribute one energy kit per car to neighborhood residents who display a pre-distributed postcard on the dashboard of their car.
The Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. inspired day of service is one of several community outreach events Division employees participate in annually.
