Lane closures to extend to Monday, August 3

Memphis Light, Gas and Water Division (MLGW) is extending temporary lane closures at the intersection of Park Avenue and Mount Moriah Road through Monday, August 3, to accommodate additional unforeseen maintenance and repairs to water infrastructure.

MLGW crews will continue to maintain one open lane in each direction while work is underway.

Motorists are encouraged to follow all posted traffic control devices. Left turns at the intersection will remain prohibited during construction. Access to businesses and properties within the work zone will be maintained for local traffic.

Drivers should use caution in the area, follow posted signage and allow additional travel time while work continues. MLGW appreciates the public's patience as crews complete this necessary infrastructure work.
