MLGW completed its storm restoration efforts at 10:30 p.m. on Thursday. Service has been restored to all 28,000 customers who were without power initially due to Tuesday’s storm.  

“I’m pleased to announce we have completed the restoration process of all the outages caused by Tuesday’s brutal storm ahead of schedule. I’d like to commend our crews, who worked as safely and efficiently as possible, as well as our customers, who displayed patience and understanding throughout this process. We continue to strive to be the best utility for our customers,” said MLGW President and CEO Jerry Collins.   

MLGW is the largest three-service public power utility in the nation, serving more than 420,000 customers in Memphis and Shelby County with some of the lowest combined rates in the nation.
