Memphis Light, Gas and Water is governed by a seven-member Board of Commissioners who are appointed by the Mayor of the City of Memphis. Public meetings are held at 8:30 a.m. on the first and third Wednesdays of each month (unless otherwise noted) at the MLGW Administration Building, 220 S. Main.
It is suggested that the public arrive a minimum of 30 minutes prior to the start of the meeting.
Customers who don’t plan to attend the meeting in person can submit questions up to 24 hours prior to the meeting by email to firstname.lastname@example.org. The email should include: the customer’s full name, physical address and question(s), and date of the board meeting in the subject line.
The public may also access the meeting and agenda online at mlgw.com/livestream.
MLGW is the largest three-service public power utility in the nation, serving more than 440,000 customers in Memphis and Shelby County.
