Reminder: MLGW invites small business owners to a Power Pivot
June 21, 2023

Memphis Light, Gas and Water is hosting a webinar for small business owners Thursday, June 22. Power Pivot: Attracting and Retaining Employees in the New Normal starts at 4 p.m. on Zoom: https://mlgw.zoom.us/j/85906866065.

Today’s job market is competitive. Business leaders must be innovative if they want to attract talented employees and keep current employees engaged. They may offer signing bonuses, flexible work arrangements or other incentives to appeal to job candidates. Tomorrow’s Power Pivot explores the topic with guest speakers Brian Duffy, Paychex HR and Compliance, and Joseph Castleman, Paychex Sales. Brian and Joseph, alongside host and MLGW Vice President of Community and External Affairs, Gale Jones Carson, will discuss ways small businesses can attract and retain talent in the new normal.

Brian Duffy has worked for Paychex in the Human Resources and Compliance Division for five years. He enjoys working with small to medium sized businesses by helping them find and keep great employees, stay compliant and create efficiencies within the business.

Joseph Castleman is a sales representative and managed accounts in Nashville like the Tennessee Titans, Nashville Predators and the Country Music Hall of Fame. Joseph and his family moved to Memphis in August when he started work as a Sales Representative for Paychex.
