Memphis Light, Gas and Water updated its mobile app with new features and organizing capabilities. The utility launched the enhanced MLGW My Account interface in the MLGW app Wednesday morning. Upgrades provide an improved user experience. With one click, customers can now access the Bills & Payments page, an application for the On Track program or electric outage information. Customers can also organize their accounts with customized nicknames.

Clicking the Account Details/Donations button gives customers options to report outages, stop service or request payment arrangements. This button also provides direct access to enroll in text alerts and paperless billing.

Sign up is easy for MLGW customers who do not have a My Account yet. All that is needed is the customer’s email address, MLGW account number and access code. The account number and access code are both listed on customers’ paper bill. Residential customers can call 544-6549 for assistance; customers with business accounts should call 528-4270.

Customers who already have a My Account do not have to re-install the app or update it on their device. Updates were automatic.
