MLGW Public Auction of Surplus Vehicles and Equipment
October 21, 2022

Saturday, November 5 at 7 a.m. at the South Service Center (3020 Gill Road)

A public auction of Memphis Light, Gas and Water Division surplus vehicles and equipment will be held Saturday, November 5 at 7 a.m. at the South Service Center (3020 Gill Road). The inclement weather date is Saturday, November 19.

All vehicles will be sold individually and will be sold as is and where is. Vehicles and equipment must be paid immediately after the sale and before leaving the lot. Only cash, certified or cashier’s checks, or personal or company checks accompanied by a letter of credit from a solvent bank will be accepted. Vehicles should be removed on the date of the sale but no later than 5 p.m. the following Monday.

The equipment listed below does not represent a complete and total list of those pieces that may be available for auction.

Trucks and Sedans: midsize sedans; SUVs; vans; ½ ton pickup trucks; ¾ ton service trucks; ¾ ton pickup trucks; 1 ton vans; 1 ton service trucks; 1 ½ ton service trucks; dump trucks; fuel tanks; 2 ton trucks.

Special Equipment: trailers; hot stick trailers; skid mount compressors; traffic signals; bulldozers; trenchers; mowers; boring rigs; multi power units; bucket trucks.

Equipment may be inspected from 8 - 10 a.m. on the date of the sale. Equipment can be inspected prior to the sale on November 3 and 4 from 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
