MLGW launches campaign on Black Friday to recruit for hard-to-fill positions

Memphis Light, Gas and Water Division launches a new campaign to attract talent this week. The aim is to encourage would-be-employees to take a break from Black Friday sales, and “shop” for a new career instead. There will be more than 70 hard-to-fill positions uploaded to mlgw.com/jobs on Black Friday, November 24, 2023. Applicants should apply on the website to be considered.
Examples of hard-to-fill positions include IT, mechanic and lineman positions. Qualified linemen and mechanics may be eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus.
