Roland McElrath is Memphis Light, Gas and Water's Vice President of Accounting. In this position, McElrath directs and oversees the Division’s accounting activities and departments engaged in general accounting, budgeting and utility rate management.
McElrath has served two stints as the Finance Director for the City of Memphis. He has also held the position of Associate Superintendent of Business Operations at Memphis City Schools and was Chief Financial Officer at the Memphis Housing Authority.
McElrath received his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Tennessee at Martin in 1982 and earned an MBA in Finance from University of Memphis in 1989. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
