(October 9, 2009) - Beginning Thursday, Oct. 15, the Memphis Light, Gas and Water North Community Office at 2424 Summer Avenue will close for renovations that will improve efficiency and convenience in serving customers. Renovations include a new HVAC system, roofing repairs, and other enhancements that will improve efficiency and convenience in serving customers. The North Office is scheduled to re-open in January 2010.

During this time period, MLGW customers are asked to conduct business at one of our other Community Offices:

South Community Office
2935 Lamar Avenue

Whitehaven Community Office
1111 East Shelby Drive

Millington Community Office
5131 Navy Road

MLGW's Main Office, South Community Office and Whitehaven Community Office are open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and until 6 p.m. on Friday. The Millington Community Office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

MLGW is the largest three-service public power utility in the nation, serving more than 420,000 customers in Memphis and Shelby County.
