Utility representatives, sponsors, and vendors from across the United States will attend the three-day event at the Westin Hotel in downtown Memphis. The “Welcome Address” will be given by Chris Bieber, Vice President of Customer Care for MLGW.
What: Exceleron’s 9th Annual Users Conference
When: April 29 to May 1, 2018
Where: The Westin Memphis Beale Street
Participants will attend breakout sessions, expert panels, and discussion groups to learn about new MyUsage features and functionality, identify best practices at other utilities, and explore ways to improve operations and customer service. Exceleron will recognize the exceptional achievements of utilities using MyUsage in an awards ceremony on the final day.
“The Exceleron Users Conference provides a wonderful opportunity for our utility customers to share their experiences and learn from one another,” said Karen Hutson, Director of Training and Customer Service. “Many of our long-time clients lead sessions and answer questions posed by utilities that are just beginning to implement MyUsage.”
Exceleron’s MyUsage platform is a customer engagement platform and a suite of integrated applications for prepay accounts, payment processing, usage monitoring, debt recovery, and communication alerts. More than 60 utilities rely on MyUsage to improve communication with customers and offer greater payment flexibility and convenience.
“We are excited to be the host utility for the next Exceleron Users Conference” said Chris Bieber, VP, Customer Care, MLGW. “MyUsage Prepay is one of the most important applications that we’ve layered on top of our smart grid to derive additional benefits for our customers and we look forward to exchanging ideas and facilitating conversations on best practices.”
Exceleron’s User Advisory Board will convene on May 2 to discuss the MyUsage Product Roadmap and identify additional desired features. The User Advisory Board Chair, Brian Pippin, Manager of Strategic Customer Solutions for JEA, remarked on the “powerful synergy and group learning fostered” when utility representatives meet face to face to focus on the business process, technology and innovation underlying their communication and bill payment offerings.
Honeywell is the Grand Sponsor for the Exceleron Users Conference, and Sensus and Tantalus are Platinum Sponsors. Other supporting sponsors include Itron, CSA, Eaton, Howard Industries and U.S. Payments. All sponsors will participate in the vendor fair, where attendees can learn about new industry offerings that complement the MyUsage solution.
