Memphis Light, Gas and Water is teaming up with Lowe’s Home Improvement Stores in Memphis and Shelby County today, Friday, April 8, to promote natural gas safety awareness and “Call 811 Before You Dig,” part of National Safe Digging Month in April.

The Natural Gas Safety Awareness Day schedule for participating Shelby County Lowe’s locations is as follows:

• 430 Germantown Parkway, Cordova, TN: 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
• 585 N. Perkins Road, Memphis, TN: 1-4 p.m.
• 8490 Highway 51 North, Millington, TN: 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
• 8300 Highway 64, Bartlett, TN: 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
• 425 New Byhalia Road, Collierville, TN: 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
• 7895 Winchester Road, Memphis, TN: 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
